Could you please send me your advise, comments, responses…etc concerning below two questions?
Question 1
1. If you were working in a company that due to financial constrains and changes in business direction had to reduce its personnel by 30% as a cost saving measure: what would be the plan that you would put together to manage that exercise? Kindly note that the company makes widgets, has 2 main offices in France and 5 sub offices in the main regions around the globe. It has a total of 25,000 employees globally with proportion of international staff to local staff of 1 to 2. Kindly note that the functions most affected by the financial situation are those related to the production and distribution of widgets. In providing your plan, please indicate what would be the proportion of local to international staff that you would reduce, what kind of counseling you would be providing, what termination benefits, what specific action you would take in consideration of those staff members that you would be downsizing. Please indicate whether there would be any policy in consideration of your plan.

2. Please give a global analysis of what are today the most salient human resources challenges for employers, especially for those engaged in non-profit and intergovernmental sectors. What is it that from your experience you would bring to the Organization to address those challenges?
