WTFAY is the fastest way to find your friend.

With WTFAY, you grab your phone, ping the other person, and in seconds, you are both looking at your two locations on a map. Either of you can get driving directions to the other person and avoid making a series of calls or texts asking “Which direction do I go?”, “How long will you take?”, and of course, “Where The F*** Are You?”. But if you do need to call or text, it’s just a click away. WTFAY’s location sharing is fast and easy, but also private and temporary. Only a telephone number is needed to locate your friend, and you two are only sharing your location with each other, not the world. WTFAY works on lots of other phones so you can use it with all your friends and family. If your friend doesn’t have our app on their phone already, they can use the mobile web page to get the same information.

WTFAY is powered by Huddle Mobile, a platform to create and manage private, temporary, mobile huddles using only your phone number.

Founder's Stories: David Hu of SpecialFork

Wednesday, September 8, 6:00pm

In the first of a series of events co-hosted by pariSoma and Founder’s Space, we’ll be taking a deep dive into the story of David Hu, the founder of the startup Special Fork.

Special Fork was created for just-in-time decision-making at the supermarket to meet the needs of the everyday cook. These are people who decide what to make for dinner the day of — usually at the last minute – the ones looking lost as they push their carts aimlessly from aisle to aisle. In this desperate moment, supermarkets and brands can step forward with solutions, winning the shopper’s gratitude and loyalty.

David Hu is the CEO and founder of Special Fork. He has over 10 years of experience in the high tech industry focusing his last three years in the mobile space. As a Product Manager and Analyst at Mmetrics, a mobile media research company, David was instrumental in defining the core handset device specifications database and contributed to the highest consumer handset identification rate in the industry. Most recently David was the Manager for Mobile Devices at Virgin Mobile USA where he oversaw special edition handsets accounting for $12.8M in revenue and contributed to overall handset selection accounting for $13.8M in revenue. David earned a BA in International Relations and a BA in French from Tufts University. He earned his MBA graduating magna cum laude from Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, ranked #1 in entrepreneurship by US News and World Report for the 17th year in a row, and Top 5 Worldwide MBA programs in entrepreneurship 7 years running by the Financial Times. You can visit Special Fork by going to www.specialfork.com.

Maybe you’re doing fine and dandy and just need a sounding board for the next great idea – shared in complete confidence of course!
