Coworker of the week: Evy Wilkins

Ok, so we’re a bit off on the whole “weekly” thing for the moment. But that doesn’t change the fact that we love our coworkers and want to tell you about them!

This week’s coworker of the week is Evy Wilkins, COO of DoYouBuzz Inc, a unique online resume service that gets professionals recognized for their potential. She has lived and worked on three continents, speaks two languages and starred in one short film (We play Bingo here). Before joining the tech world, she managed environmental protection projects in Sierra Leone and handled communications for a biodiversity investment fund. Her formative years were spent at the University of Minnesota and Sciencescom (Nantes, France). She also photographs squished plums, which will either repulse or inspire you. Learn more from her DYB resume.

In addition to her work in Sierra Leone, Evy’s life has also taught her how to survive Minnesota winters, appreciate good wines, and farrow management. She’s quite a force to be reckoned with! Her favorite “personalities” include Erasmas, Nell, and Y.T.

Since being in San Francisco, Evy has started organizing a great meetup at pariSoma around HR and Tech in San Francisco. The group meets monthly, and has quickly grown to have over 150 members!

Check out our coworkers of the week to learn more about our members!

Announcing pariSoma Bridge Services for Startups!

We’ve put together packages to help launch French startups on the US market, building the “Bridge” between San Francisco and our sister city of Paris, France.

We’re helping businesses to design and launch their products in the US market. From market research, to recruiting, to business development, our goal is to guide and help entrepreneurs in the Silicon Valley.

pariSoma is already hosting DoYouBuzz, the NextGen resume. Originally founded in France in 2008, DoYouBuzz allows users to create a beautiful, search engine-optimized resume with ease. By harnessing the potential of the web, the service helps professionals successfully promote themselves to recruiters, employers and business contacts.

As the company established itself as a major player in the French online recruiting sector, expanding to the US become a priority in 2010. pariSoma provides the infrastructure and network necessary for this startup to cross borders without overextending its efforts. Today, DoYouBuzz continues to grow its offer, by developing tools to dramatically improve the way we recruit and look for work. The company is based in Nantes, France and San Francisco, CA.

Services include company incorporation, guidance with Visas, a business address, work desks, legal, and more. Contact us if you’d like to learn more or download the PDF.
