Jourdain Vannier is a 20 years old student in business and political sciences at Sciences Po Paris, France. He currently is an analyst intern for RebellionLab, a consulting services company bridging French multinationals to Silicon Valley opportunities. As a hobby, he also is cofounder Do IT developers, an iOS development shop that develops MVPs for other startups.

He is a Researcher at the Tokyo University Policy Alternatives Research Institute, a Research Fellow at the Tokyo Foundation, and the first honoree of the Abegglen Scholarship Fund established in memory of James C. Abegglen. Brunner holds a PhD in Information, Technology & Management from Harvard University and a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University. Before entering Harvard, Brunner was an associate in the Tokyo and San Francisco offices of The Boston Consulting Group.

I recently moved to San Fransisco from Australia after taking Sean Parker’s (aka Justin Timberlake’s) comment about ‘having to be in California’ slightly too seriously. I love surfing, rugby and the drive/vision people have here. I hate US immigration procedures. I want to meet you all and offer a hand where needed.

Before moving here, I ran Toyota Australia’s online marketing campaigns. Covered everything from SEO, SEM, Social, re-targeting (and all other advertising buzzwords). Now I dedicate my time to a company I recently launched, Shopon. Shopon’s vision is to create a marketplace where companies can directly trade rewards for promotion with their customers. Scott is the US Director for Chugulu Games, responsible for marketing, biz dev, and shot-calling in all English-speaking countries. Born and raised in New Jersey, he studied Philosophy at Rutgers University as an undergrad, eventually opting for life in the music industry working for Universal Music. After years at Universal running mobile marketing and business development, he took some time off to surf and hike in Hawaii, before finally landing in San Francisco to pursue opportunities in the mobile startup world. He is passionate about music, good food/drinks, the New York Jets, DJing, Spinoza, and laughter.
